Emmanuel Gyamfi Boateng, popularly known as Mind of El is a children’s book illustrator based in Ghana. He is a self taught digital artist born and raised in Kumasi. According to his profile on Shannon Associates, he started digital painting in 2014 and has since created intriguing artwork for names like British X Factor star, Jahmene Douglas, Afro Beats music stars Black Sherif and Burna Boy.
In 2020, he made a decision to stick strictly to children’s book illustrations and since then has created book illustration for various authors. Emmanuel Boateng creates the occasional comic strips as well.
