As we ring in the new year of 2023, gamers and esports enthusiasts in Ghana have something special to look forward to: the maiden, Accra Esports Week 2023. Mark your calendars if you’re a fan of esports and gaming for what’s pegged to be the biggest esports event of the year.
From January 9th to 14th, the Esports Academy in Haatso, Accra will be transformed into a hub of gaming activity, with exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and socialization all on the schedule. This is a can’t-miss event for anyone interested in video gaming and the latest gadgets and trends in the industry.”
Over 1,000 gamers will compete in various genres of video games for a chance to win great prizes. These gamers will compete in various competitions such as Conquest, Mobile Games Championship, Corporate Esports Championship, Velocity Championship, Girls In Gaming, Slam Dunk, Virtual Reality Challenge, Ultimate Battle, and Teens Esports Championship.
Retailers of esports gadgets and equipment will also be on hand, offering awesome deals. And industry experts and professionals will be sharing their insights and experiences with attendees, making this the perfect opportunity to learn more about the esports industry.
But AEW isn’t just about the gaming – it’s also about the connections. With an expected 5,000 participants, this will be a great chance to meet new friends and share magical venues with like-minded individuals.
