Re-Imagine Ghanaian Creativity at MESH Confab 2018

If you agree that the world is nothing without creativity, then you can’t miss this year’s MESH Confab. Meet, Explore and Share creativity over two days at the National Theatre from the 13th – 14th of July 2018.

The MESH Confab, now in its sixth year, is an annual gathering of creators across disciplines showcasing their work. From animators to game developers, fashion designers to 3D printers, marketing wizards to graphic designers, the confab is a haven, playground and an elixir of inspiration for creators and fans alike.

What to Expect at MESH Confab 2018

1. Creative Expo

In Ghana’s quest to move beyond aid, it is absolutely imperative that we begin to re-imagine the way we do things in all sectors of the economy. MESH Creative Confab 2018 seeks to unearth the role of the creative industry in this process by curating sessions that showcase and demonstrate innovative ideas, projects and creative business services that demonstrate this theme while also offering practical tools that will directly impact participants by enhancing their ability to re-imagine.

2. Curated Talks (Masterclass Workshops)

This year, MESH Confab has introduced Masterclass Workshops in digital and enterprise skills training to equip participants with practical tools they can benefit from. This pilot run will include workshops in and facilitated by the following:

1. Introduction to Digital Photography by Dextdee Livingstone
2. Design thinking for innovation by David Hutchful3. Graphic design fundamentals by Nana K. Duah4. Running a creative business
Each premium ticket holder gets access to any 2 workshops of their choice

3. Portfolio Presentations

Hungry for inspiration? Discover invaluable insights and learn new tips and tricks from some of the finest creators during their portfolio presentations. Enjoy the thrill of observing and reviewing the portfolios of some of your favourite artists.

4. Live Demos

There will be live demonstrations by experts. From illustration to digital printing, the confab presents a great opportunity to witness creatives doing what they do best; create.

MESH Confab 2018 Squid Mag Artist Alley
